Chess classes for children in Seoul and nearby 20

These academies and programmes say on their own pages that they teach children. Most are ICHESS branches: the Yongsan main branch, Banpo and Hongdae in Seoul, Suwon, and the Bucheon and Gimpo branches opened in July 2026; the chain's branches in Daechi, Godeok, Wirye, Jamsil, Ichon, Balsan, Misa and Bundang Jeongja are listed on its branch map but have no recent notice of their own.

Outside the chain, Chess Run in Cheongna, Incheon, takes children from five in groups of four pupils to a teacher, WizChess in Songdo runs group classes for children, and The Chess EPA in Bucheon adds a monthly chess club for its pupils, which university students visited in September 2026. AZT Chess in Dongtan has weekly children's classes, and Inner Chess Academy in Seocho-gu teaches children besides its Tuesday club evening. Gangbuk-gu's Dream Start programme held a summer basics class for its own primary pupils in 2025.
