Privacy and data handling
What the form sends
When you send the form, it passes on the name you typed, the contact details you chose to give and your note: which place, what should change, where it can be checked and how you know the place. The address and language of the page you wrote from go with it. A hidden field that people never see is there only to stop automated spam.
How notes are used
Notes are held by a form service and read together at the next revision. They are used only to check and apply what you report, and a reply goes out only when a note asks for one and gives a contact. Names and contact details are never published, sold or passed on to the academy, club, venue or organiser concerned; a correction shown on the site describes the change, not its sender.
Counting visits
Visits are counted by a script served from this site's own domain. It sets no cookie and does not follow anyone across other sites. For each page view it notes the page, the page that linked to it, and the browser, type of device and country taken from the request, and these are looked at only as totals.
No third-party code
The site loads no advertising, social-media or other outside tracking code, and no outside fonts, map tiles or images. A link to a source or a map takes you to another website with its own privacy rules. The host that delivers these pages handles technical data such as IP addresses only as far as serving the pages needs.
Your rights
To have a note you sent corrected or deleted, write again through the form with the same name and contact and say what you would like done. The change is made in the form service when notes are next read; no confirmation is sent unless you ask for one and leave a contact. People in Korea may also turn to the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC).
