Seoul Chess Club

A magazine feature published on 16 June 2026 describes the club's programme of chess evenings in bars, language exchange and listening parties, each signed up for separately. The club's community group says it holds regular and curated meetings in Hongdae, Haebangchon, Itaewon, Gangnam, Sangsu and Hapjeong. A second magazine piece published on 26 March 2026 describes a meeting held on 18 March 2026 at a bar in Haebangchon and says the club arranges a beginners' class, a tournament and speed chess every month. It is a different listing from the club of near-identical name in Jeonnong-dong, Dongdaemun-gu: this group meets at bars and spaces across Seoul and prints no fixed address, while that one is a Naver place listing with a street address.
